Step 01 · DiscoverHead to the HK Pop Quiz section and test your Cantopop knowledge across 5 curated questions. Every correct answer earns you 100 points — with streak bonuses for consecutive wins. Points accumulate in real-time and appear in the top navigation bar. Earn enough points to unlock exclusive badges and climb the leaderboard.
Step 02 · PlayCantopia rewards curious explorers. As you interact — opening timeline items, liking gallery pieces, completing trivia, and submitting content — you automatically unlock achievement badges. Check the Membership section to see your current badge collection. Locked badges show you what's still to discover, giving you goals to chase.
Step 03 · CollectYou don't just consume — you build the archive. Scroll to the Community section and submit your own HK pop culture gem. Add a name, pick a category, give it a title and year, and write why it matters. Your submission appears instantly in the community feed and earns you 50 points plus the Contributor badge.

Cantopia is a community-owned interactive digital archive dedicated to preserving and celebrating Hong Kong pop culture from the 1970s to the present. We combine archival depth with gamification, community contributions, and digital collectibles to create an experience unlike any other cultural platform.
Despite its global influence, Hong Kong pop culture has no unified, interactive, and community-driven archive. Existing resources are fragmented across Wikipedia, fan sites, and academic papers — inaccessible to casual fans and lacking the engagement that modern audiences expect.
